ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON, MBCHB 

Dr m.s. Jakoet

A qualified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained hip and knee arthroplasty surgeon, Dr Jakoet is proficient in the direct anterior approach, a minimally invasive way to do hip replacement surgery. He also performs robotic–assisted total knee replacements and treats and manages the full spectrum of orthopaedic conditions (Except spinal). 

Dr Jakoet is a fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa. He did his orthopaedic residency at Tygerberg Hospital and brings all that work experience into his private practice today.

• Medical degree (MBChB). University of Cape Town 2009. 
• Fellowship of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons FC Ortho (SA). College of Medicine 2021 
• Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery)- MMed, Stellenbosch University 2021.  
• South African Orthopaedic Association endorsed Arthroplasty fellowship 2021-2022. Tygerberg hospital/Stellenbosch University.
